Aunque carece del carácter épico de otras producciones cinematográficas sobre médicos y Medicina, lo humanitario sobrevuela de manera constante a lo largo de la trama.Además, siendo una comedia romántica dramática no evita tratar algunos temas polémicos para el entonces vigente macartismo anticomunista.La susodicha humanización médica y este plus subyacente en una ficción apriorísticamente ligera estimuló y guio la redacción de este trabajo. This film focuses on part of the story of a doctor as initially expressed in a superimposed writing. Such a professional is the founder of a clinic where patients are humanely and comprehensively approached. While lacking the epic character of other cinematographic productions on doctors and Medicine, the humanism constantly hovers throughout the plot.In addition, being a romantic and dramatic comedy, it does not avoid dealing some controversial issues for the then current anti-communist McCarthyism.The aforementioned medical humanization and this underlying plus in an a priori light fiction stimulated and guided the drafting of this paper. Hábitos alimentarios y percepción de la imagen corporal en un grupo de adolescentes que realizan comedia musical / Eating habits and body image perception in a group of adolescents who perform musical comedy

Resumen Los hábitos alimentarios son un conjunto de costumbres que condicionan la forma en que las personas o grupos sociales seleccionan, preparan y consumen los alimentos. Si bien se adquieren durante la infancia y la familia desempeña un papel fundamental en la configuración del patrón alimentario, al alcanzar la adolescencia, el papel de la familia pierde relevancia y el grupo de amigos/as y las referencias sociales se convierten en condicionantes claves de la dieta de las/os adolescentes. La adolescencia es una etapa de cambios, tanto a nivel fisiológico como psicológico. Estos cambios influyen directamente sobre el equilibrio nutricional en este singular momento. El objetivo de esta investigación fue describir los hábitos alimentarios y la percepción de la imagen corporal en un grupo de estudiantes de comedia musical. El enfoque metodológico adoptado fue cualitativo. Se pudo observar que la mayoría de las/os adolescentes entrevistadas/os tienden a omitir comidas, principalmente, por falta de tiempo por sus rutinas cargadas de actividades. También se observó que, en épocas cercanas a una presentación en el escenario, muchas/os adolescentes modifican su conducta alimentaria, omitiendo o evitando algunos alimentos buscando sentirse bien con su cuerpo en el escenario. Asimismo, hicieron referencia a la incomodidad de utilizar determinados vestuarios ya que se sienten muy expuestos, y en relación a esto mencionaron que evitaban algunos alimentos durante las muestras teatrales. En este sentido, este trabajo de investigación contribuye a entender cómo la percepción del cuerpo influye en las conductas alimentarias de los/as adolescentes que formaron parte del proyecto.

Abstract The term eating habits refers to the set of customs which shape the way in which individuals or groups of individuals select, prepare and consume their food. Even though these habits are acquired during childhood and family plays a substantial role in the development of the habit, upon reaching adolescence, the role of the family loses relevance and the group of friends and social references become key determinants in the diet of adolescents. Adolescence is a transitional stage, both at a psychological and physical level, with changes that influence directly on the nutritional balance of the adolescent. The purpose of this research was to analyse the relationship between eating habits and body image perception among a group of students who perform musical comedy via qualitative method. What was observed was that the majority of the interviewees tend to skip meals, mainly due to lack of time as a result of having overloaded routines. It was also observed that, in times close to performing on stage, many adolescents modify their eating behaviour, omitting or avoiding some foods in order to feel good about their body on stage. They also made reference to the discomfort of using certain costumes since they feel very exposed, and in relation to this they mentioned that they avoided some foods during theatrical shows. In this sense, this research contributes to understanding how the perception of the body influences the eating behaviours of the adolescents who were part of the project.

Adolescent Use of Digital Media and Parental Mediation - A Research Review Digital media are wide spread, frequently used, and highly relevant in the lives of children, adolescents and their parents. Because parents aim to reduce or prevent potential risks of media use for their children, many parents apply different strategies of parental mediation of children's media use: restrictive parental mediation, active parental mediation, co-media use, technical monitoring, and participatory learning. These forms of parental mediation have differential impact on children and adolescents. Different types of media (e. g. television, video games, internet, and mobile phones) have common features but also specific characteristics that lead to partially inconsistent research findings that are not only due to age differences of children and adolescents. Concerning an impact model of parental mediation, the current contribution presents overarching and divergent empirical findings, approaches the effectiveness of parental mediation for cyberbullying, and discusses practical implications as well as research gaps in the analysis of parental mediation.

O "cuidado de si" em Platão e em Balzac: algumas páginas da história da subjetividade / "The care of the self" in Plato and Balzac: some pages of the history of the subjectivity

O artigo busca realizar um percurso na história da subjetividade no Ocidente a partir do tema do cuidado de si, segundo Michel Foucault. A proposta se inscreve no debate sobre os processos de subjetivação por meio de estudos literários. Ela visa apresentar a invenção do cuidado de si no diálogo platônico Alcibíades, suas transformações em algumas obras literárias e filosóficas e especialmente suas significações na obra O Pai Goriot, de Honoré de Balzac. Discutimos como o dandismo no século XIX poderia representar uma segunda idade de ouro da história do cuidado de si e colocamos em questão se ele também poderia representar uma raiz da subjetividade contemporânea. Na Antiguidade, o cuidado de si é um trabalho do personagem para se aperfeiçoar a si-mesmo e assim entrar na vida política e tomar em mãos o poder e o destino da pólis. No início do século XIX, o objetivo do cuidado de si será a realização de um desejo individual: entrar na vida da nobreza parisiense e tomar em mãos seu próprio destino. O personagem dândi balzaquiano é um modelo de sujeito que é incitado a se governar "ele-mesmo" para ser livre, ao invés de cooperar ao seu próprio assujeitamento. No entanto, interpretamos em Balzac uma forma "degradada" do cuidado de si em relação ao modelo socrático, uma vez que o próprio contexto sociopolítico se encontra "degradado". Na perspectiva do nosso trabalho, consideramos que o texto literário é uma forma relevante de representação e de produção da subjetividade que deve ser discutida com os estudos da subjetividade das ciências humanas.(AU)

The article aims to go through the history of the subjectivity in the Occident from the theme "the care of the self", according to Michel Foucault. The proposal is to debate the subjective processes in the literary studies, and it has as objective to present the invention of the care of the self in the Plato's dialogue Alcibiades, its transformations into some literary and philosophic works, especially its meanings in the literary work Father Goriot by Honoré de Balzac. We discuss how the dandyism in the 19th Century could represent a second golden age of history of the care of the self, and we also question if it could represent a root of contemporary subjectivity. In the Antiquity period, the care of the self is a work of the character to improve himself, and, this way, to venture himself in the politics life and take control of power and destiny of the polis. In early 19th Century, the objective of the care of the self will be the individual fulfillment of a wish: to be part of the Parisian Nobility and take in his hands his own destiny. The dandy character is a model of subject which is encouraged to govern himself in order to be free, instead of having to cooperate with his own subjection. However, we interpret in Balzac a "degraded" way of the care of the self, in relation to the Socratic model, once the very socio-political context is "degraded". In the perspective of our study, we consider the literary text a relevant way of representation and production of subjectivity which has to be discussed with studies of subjectivity of human sciences.(AU)

Ela visa apresentar a invenção do cuidado de si no diálogo platônico Alcibíades, suas transformações em algumas obras literárias e filosóficas e especialmente suas significações na obra O Pai Goriot, de Honoré de Balzac. Discutimos como o dandismo no século XIX poderia representar uma segunda idade de ouro da história do cuidado de si e colocamos em questão se ele também poderia representar uma raiz da subjetividade contemporânea. Na Antiguidade, o cuidado de si é um trabalho do personagem para se aperfeiçoar a si-mesmo e assim entrar na vida política e tomar em mãos o poder e o destino da pólis. No início do século XIX, o objetivo do cuidado de si será a realização de um desejo individual: entrar na vida da nobreza parisiense e tomar em mãos seu próprio destino. Tais elementos estéticos são colhidos na reflexão sobre o trágico emergente no pensamento alemão do final do século XIX, com autores como Hõlderlin, Hegel e Nietzsche. Foca-se em noções como conflito, excesso, e a relação entre o trágico e o cômico, permanecendo-se fiel ao paradoxo que tais noções implicam ao exercício do pensamento. Aceita-se, antes de mais nada, o desafio de escrever não apenas a respeito de tais noções, mas incorporando-as na própria forma de escrita do artigo. Departing from the character of Sophocles' Oedipus, this text discusses aesthetic elements of classic tragedy that remain relevant to a critical understanding of issues about ways of subjectivation and identity. These aesthetic elements are taken from the reflections about the tragic advanced in the German thought of the end of the 19th century, in authors such as Hõlderlin, Hegel and Nietzsche. We focus in notions such as conflict, excess, and the relation between the tragic and the comic, paying attention to the paradox that such notions convey to the exercise of thinking. We welcome the challenge of writing not only about these notions, but embedding them in the very way the paper is written. In relation to this challenge, the reference is Maurice Blanchot.(AU)
